01 Acceptance of these terms
By booking a pickup with Asnap (“we”, “us”, “Asnap”), you (“you”, “customer”) agree to these Terms of Service plus our Privacy Policy, SMS Consent, Liability & Claims policy, and Restricted Items list. If you don't agree, please don't book a pickup.
These terms form a binding agreement. Asnap, Inc. is a Delaware corporation operating in Irvine, California.
02 What Asnap does
Asnap is a curbside Amazon return pickup service. For a flat fee of $4.99 per pickup, we:
- Pick up your already-packaged Amazon return items from your front door (or you hand them to our driver, your choice);
- Drop them at a participating UPS Store, using either the QR code you sent us or a UPS shipping label you forwarded to your one-time pickup inbox; and
- Send you a photo of the UPS dropoff receipt + UPS tracking number by SMS.
What we are not. Asnap is not a shipping carrier, package handler, warehouse, or fulfillment service. We do not open, repackage, inspect contents, or store your items. Amazon's refund timing and decisions are entirely Amazon's, not ours.
03 Who can use Asnap
To book a pickup you must be:
- At least 18 years old, with the legal capacity to enter into this agreement;
- Located within a currently-supported zip code (initially 92602, 92604, 92614, 92618, and 92620 in Irvine, California; we expand based on demand);
- Returning items that comply with our Restricted Items list; and
- Able to receive SMS at the U.S. mobile number you provide.
04 Booking, payment, and confirmation
Booking
You book by submitting the form at asnapapp.com. We text you an order number (e.g. R-0426-B7) and a one-time forwarding email inbox (e.g. [email protected]) right after.
Sending us your return info
Choose either path:
- QR code path: Take a screenshot of Amazon's Return Summary Card and upload it from your order page.
- Label path: In Amazon's flow, tap "Share label \u2192 Send to a friend", and forward the label email to the one-time inbox we gave you.
Payment
You pay $4.99 per pickup via Zelle. We text you the Zelle handle and required memo (your order number) after we receive your return info. Zelle requests are sent to the phone number you registered with your bank; payments must include the order number in the memo so we can match them to your booking.
You are not charged at booking. No money changes hands until we confirm we have your return info. If your info doesn't arrive within 48 hours of booking, the order auto-cancels at no cost to you.
05 Cancellation, rescheduling, and refunds

Refunds, when due, are issued via the same Zelle payment within 24 hours.
06 Your responsibilities
- Accurate address. Provide a complete street address with zip. If we can't find or access your address, the pickup may be marked an exception per our Liability policy.
- Pre-packaged items. Items must be ready (boxed for the Label path; loose items for the QR path are okay if they're under 20 lb each and not on the Restricted list).
- Up to 5 items per pickup, max 20 lb each. Larger or heavier orders need to be split or contact us first.
- No restricted items. See the full Restricted Items list. If you place restricted items in our custody, you accept full responsibility for any disposal, fines, or damages.
- Truthful return info. The QR or label you give us must be the same Amazon return associated with the items we pick up. Submitting someone else's label or fraudulent labels terminates your account.
07 Our responsibilities
- Pickup attempt within your chosen window. If we miss the window for any reason on our end, you can reschedule for free or cancel for a full refund.
- Photo proof at door. If you choose "Leave at door", our driver photographs the items as they pick up so we have a chain-of-custody record.
- UPS dropoff same day. Items picked up are dropped at a participating UPS Store the same day, before that store's last UPS handoff.
- Receipt + tracking via SMS. You get the dropoff receipt photo and UPS tracking number by SMS, typically within 60 minutes of dropoff.
- Background-checked drivers. All drivers are vetted and carry their own auto insurance. Asnap also maintains commercial general liability coverage subject to the limits in §8.
08 Liability limits
While items are in our drivers' custody, Asnap covers loss or damage up to $100 per item, $500 per pickup. This is the entirety of our liability under this agreement, regardless of theory (negligence, breach of contract, etc.).
This coverage does not apply to:
- Disputes between you and Amazon over refund amounts, restocking fees, or whether the return was accepted — those are governed by Amazon's own return policy and are between you and Amazon;
- Damage from improper packing by you (loose glass, no padding, etc.);
- Items on the Restricted Items list;
- Theft once UPS has scanned the item, at which point the item is in UPS custody and subject to UPS's terms;
- Indirect, consequential, or lost-profit damages.

09 Restricted items
Some items can't be picked up due to UPS rules, federal law, or safety. Examples include hazardous materials, alcohol, firearms, cannabis, perishables, and live animals. The full and current list is at restricted.html. If you have a restricted item, drop it off yourself or contact dispatch for case-by-case handling.
10 Disputes & arbitration
We hope it never gets here. If we have a dispute we can't resolve by talking it out:
- Disputes are governed by California law.
- Disputes will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA), in Orange County, CA, under AAA's Consumer Arbitration Rules.
- You waive class actions — claims must be brought individually, not on behalf of any group.
- Either party may seek small-claims relief in Orange County, CA without arbitration.
- You may opt out of arbitration by emailing [email protected] within 30 days of first booking.
11 Termination
You can stop using Asnap at any time — just don't book a pickup. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms (especially fraudulent labels, restricted items, or abuse of drivers).
12 Changes to these terms
We may update these terms occasionally. Material changes will be posted at this URL with a new “Effective” date and, if you have an active booking, sent to you by SMS or email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to book after the effective date means you accept the changes.
